Damselflies & Dragonflies at Thursley National Nature Reserve, Surrey, UK, yesterday: a spectacular place for plants and insects plus reptiles and birds.

The weather was very windy and showery: not ideal for damselflies.  The male Emerald Damselfly above kept his wings folded as it was battered by the wind.
