My garden this week; Holly blue, bats, Common darter and a dapper fly.

This was the first Holly blue that I've seen this year.

Bats are flying round and round the house at night and enjoying the moths, the wings of which they drop in my porch; see sussexrambler.blogspot.co.uk/2014/06/large-yellow-underwing-moth-noctua.html

A Common darter visited the pond, as did the fly below, which was chased by the darter.

What a dapper fly!  Anyone know what it is?  I've failed so far to identify it.
